At 4:32 a.m. Monday, Sparks police responded to a burglar alarm in P.J.’s Discount Liquor, located at 1230 Baring Blvd. Two suspects wearing white “hoodies” entered the store through the broken window on the left and at least one of them climbed over the bars to open the door. Police found the cash register has been emptied.
At about 4:30 a.m., the Sparks Police Department received and call of an activated burglar alarm at the liquor store located at 1293 Baring Blvd. When officers arrived on scene they found several windows to the business had been broken. A further search indicated someone had entered and emptied the cash registers. Video surveillance showed two individuals wearing white “hoodies” breaking into the business using the broken window.
There is no other suspect information at this time.
