RENO — Prudential Sierra Nevada Properties (PSNP) is holding a free community paper shredding event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Earth Day, this Sunday.

Puliz Shredding Services will shred and recycle attendees’ documents. The event is a collaboration among PSNP, Guild Mortgage Company, Western Title and Puliz Shredding.

Darrell Plummer, broker and owner of Prudential Sierra Nevada Properties, hopes others will be encouraged do something for Earth Day.

“Prudential Sierra Nevada Properties is pleased to contribute to Earth Day by giving the community a secure and environmentally friendly way to get rid of their old documents at a convenient Reno location at Lakeside and McCarran,” Plummer said. “We also thought it was great timing for disposing of post-tax filing documents.”

PSNP moved in February to its new location at 6990 S. McCarran Blvd. and hopes to generate more community events at the site.
