RENO — The Grove at South Creek announced Thursday they will offer brides previously booked at D’Andrea Golf Club a credit of their non-refundable deposit up to $1,000 on their wedding facility re-booking at The Grove.

D’Andrea Golf Club closed their doors last month after a special election to seek golf course maintenance fees from the D’Andrea homeowners had failed. The club was not able to return deposits to couples who had booked weddings at the facility. Brides who bring in proof of their deposit from D’Andrea Golf Club will have their fee waived when at The Grove at South Creek, located at 95 Foothill Road in Reno.

“It was an unfortunate situation for everyone involved and we would be happy to work with any couples who lost their deposits,” said Todd McKenzie, principal at The Grove. “No one would want them to be impacted by the changes at the club so this credit would make them whole.”

The Grove is Reno’s newest dedicated private events center featuring distinctive architecture, advanced building controls, built in audio visual systems and a ground source heat loop, eliminating the use of natural gas and reducing electricity consumption for interior heating and cooling.
