CARNELIAN BAY, Calif. — The annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’ Elegance, scheduled for Aug. 10 and 11 at the Sierra Boat Company, is once again calling on the support of its community members to help make this year’s show, which is not only celebrating its 40th anniversary but also celebrating the Marque Class Riva Aquarama’s 50th anniversary, the most successful show to date.

Volunteering for the Lake Tahoe Concours d’ Elegance is a fun way to meet people and to be part of one of the finest showings of classic wooden boats in the nation. Volunteers will find the job both easy and enjoyable, no walking or lifting required. Volunteers will be entitled to enjoy the show on the day(s) before and/or after scheduled time blocks.

Volunteer positions and time slots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are needed for set-up on Aug. 9, and show dates, Aug. 10 and 11. Time blocks are from 8 to 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m..

To reserve your volunteer position, email the show’s volunteer coordinator, Les Schwoob, with your first, second and third choice at lschwoob@yahoo.com or call 530-583-8938. For more information, visit www.LakeTahoeConcours.com.
