Raymond and his crew were participating in the third annual Lighter than Air Vehicle Competition. The competition is made possible by the Nevada NASA Space Grant Consortium. The team with the aircraft that logs the fastest speed during the time trials is awarded a TMCC scholarship for 2012 - 2013 academic year for each member of the team.
