‘Speed dating’ for businesses Thursday

SPARKS — If you are a small business looking for “face time” with government contracting officers and prime contractors, Source Connection is for you.

Source Connection is a free opportunity to present your business to federal agencies and prime contractors from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday at John Ascuaga’s Nugget.

Small-business specialists, small-business liaison officers and contracting officers will be available to meet with small businesses for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, you will move on to another table to talk with other small business or contracting folks.

Come prepared with a one-page capabilities statement and your business card to discuss any upcoming contracting opportunities with participating federal agencies, prime contractors and large businesses.
