RENO — As part of National Public Health Week, April 2-8, the Washoe County Health District reminds residents that taking measures will lower the risk of disease and deaths.
“Discussing sexual health with your partner, your family and your health care provider may be difficult and uncomfortable for many people,” said Washoe County District Health Officer Dr. Joseph Iser.
Iser and other public health professionals point particularly to the importance of parents talking with their children regarding their knowledge, values and attitudes related to sexual activity, sexuality and healthy relationships.
