RENO — Jenny Wilson, M.D., has been named head of the emergency physician group at Saint Mary’s William N. Pennington Emergency Department.
Dr. Wilson, an emergency-room physician with Reno Emergency Physicians Association, was an honors graduate from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. Her post-doctoral training includes the completion of an internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and an emergency medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y. In addition to her role at Saint Mary’s, Dr. Wilson is an attending physician at Tahoe Forest Hospital in Truckee, Calif., and Banner Churchill Hospital in Fallon, Nev.
Dr. Wilson is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and holds advanced certifications in life support for cardiac, trauma and pediatric patients. She also serves on the board of directors for Western Physicians Alliance and Washoe County Medical Society, and she is a delegate to the Nevada State Medical Association.
