SPARKS — Sierra Arts Foundation Executive Director Stacey Spain and members of the Sierra Arts board of directors received a check Friday morning at John Ascuaga’s Nugget for $28,568, the proceeds from the annual Brew Ha Ha fundraiser held Feb. 3.
John Ascuaga’s Nugget CEO Michonne Ascuaga presented the check, made possible by the more than 1,500 attendees at the annual music and beer event. For the past 17 years the Brew HaHa has helped generate much-needed funding for the Sierra Arts Foundation, which provides support for area artists and community arts programs, such as Arts in Education, the Elder Care Concert Series and the Arts Infusion Project.
