RENO — Brian Delisle, a community manager for Associated Management, Inc. (AMI), and the Belsera Heights Homeowners Association were recently recognized at a Nevada Community Associations Institute (CAI) chapter awards gala.
“Brian and the Belsera Heights Homeowners Association are very deserving of these awards,” said AMI President and CEO Laura Price. “AMI is dedicated to delivering the best services available to our residents and these awards are a great recognition of our efforts.”
Delisle received the Association Management Specialist (AMS) Manager of the Year award. This award is presented to the individual who holds an AMS designation and not only exemplifies the ethics and goals of CAI, but also supports and fosters the educational and management goals of the associations for which he or she is working. Additionally, the nominee must also be an individual manager member of CAI in good standing.
Belsera Heights Homeowners Association, managed by Mike Alvarez, received the Northern Nevada Outstanding Small Association of the Year award. This award is presented to an association in northern Nevada with up to 100 units that, through its board of directors and members, best exemplifies the community aspects of an association. Nominees were judged on how well they educate their homeowners, successfully solve problems or overcome adversity and participation within the local community. Additionally, at least one board member of the nominated community must be a member of CAI in good standing.
