RENO — The Wolf Pack men’s basketball team advanced to the third round of the NIT by beating Bucknell, 75-67, in front of a large, enthusiastic crowd Sunday at Lawlor Events Center.

The No. 5 seed Wolf Pack (28-6) will take on the winner of Monday’s Illinois State-Stanford game.

Olek Czyz scored 24 points as Bucknell’s defense kept the Pack’s leading scorer, Deonte Burton to just 10 points, five below his average that earned him Western Athletic Conference player of the year honors.

Malik Story finished with 18 points and Dario Hunt had eight for Nevada.
