Renown, RCO present The Argenta Trio

RENO — As part of Renown Regional Medical Center’s Healing Arts Program, the Reno Chamber Orchestra presents The Argenta Trio at 4 p.m. Sunday at Renown’s Tahoe Tower Lobby, 1155 Mill St. in Reno.

The Argenta Trio is the renowned University of Nevada, Reno Department of Music faculty ensemble featuring violinist Stephanie Sant’Ambrogio, cellist Dmitri Atapine, and pianist James Winn.

This concert is free and open to the public. For more information, call the RCO at 348-9413.

Today is the deadline to RSVP for “Elizabeth Lenz and Margo Piscevich: A Celebration of Two Extraordinary Lives,” which will take place at 5:30 p.m. March 22 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Northern Nevada, 780 Del Monte Lane in Reno.

Lenz, Reno Chamber Orchestra Life Member as well as longtime member of the Washoe County School Board and champion of education in northern Nevada, is being honored by The Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association.

Musical performances by members of the Lenz family, along with drinks and appetizers, are part of this reception celebrating two outstanding northern Nevada women.
