2011-12 season ends for Wolf Pack women's basketball

The Wolf Pack women's basketball team's season ended Wednesday with a 75-66 loss to the Utah Stage Aggies in the opening round of the WAC tournament at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas

With the loss, Nevada ends the season (7-23, 3-11 WAC), while Utah State improves to (21-8, 11-3 WAC). The Aggies advance to the semifinals where they will face Louisiana Tech Friday at noon.

The men's basketball team opens WAC action at 6 p.m. today against the San Jose State Spartans. The Wolf Pack men enter the tournament as conference champs and the No. 1 seed.
