RENO — Cabela’s is kicking off spring by offering a series of free seminars and demonstrations on a variety of hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities during it’s annual Spring Great Outdoor Days celebration March 3 and 4 at its Reno store.

Cabela’s Spring Great Outdoor Days is the premier kickoff event of the spring hunting and fishing seasons and the best place for the latest outdoor information and specials all weekend. Besides free trophy scoring by Safari Club International (SCI) and Boone and Crockett-trained scorers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, factory representatives from the RCBS facility in Oroville, Calif., will be on hand to offer free seminars on rifle and pistol reloading at 11 a.m. and a separate shotgun reloading seminar at 1 p.m. both days. Conservation partners from the Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge, the Nevada Wildlife Federation and Friends of the Black Rock Desert will all have seminars pertinent to their areas of expertise both days, as well.
