Kirkwood to host inaugural festival

LAKE TAHOE — The inaugural High Up Fest, a one-day musical event that brings together the popular reggae movement with rock and hip hop, will host a national line-up of musical acts at Kirkwood Mountain Resort on March 24.

Nationally acclaimed reggae recording artist Collie Buddz will perform several of his solo hits at the High Up Fest, in addition to performing with The New Kingston Band. 

Also joining the line-up, Philadelphia recording artists The Movement will entertain fans with hits from their album “Set Sail,” which has attained the No. 7 spot on iTunes Top 100 Reggae Albums. 

“Battle Born Entertainment is very excited to be working in conjunction with Kirkwood Mountain Resort to showcase the inaugural High Up Fest 2012 on March 24,” said CEO of Battle Born Entertainment Carly Liston. “It promises to be a great day of music, powder and fun.”
