RENO — Michael Tragash has joined the staff at the Reno-Tahoe Open as special events manager.
In his role, Tragash plans and executes all special events related to the PGA Tour event, such as parties, Renegades networking events and charity events, including the return of Birdies & Brushes, set to take place March 21 featuring artist Michael Israel.
Tragash has a background in marketing and special events, most recently as co-creator of Reno Social Media Day.
“With his varied experience in the planning and execution of both traditional and non-traditional marketing and special events, we’re sure that Michael has what it takes to help bring the Reno-Tahoe Open to life year round,” said Jana Smoley, executive director of the tournament. “He’s a welcome addition to our team and I look forward to seeing his skill set put to work maximizing return on investment for our partners and sponsors while helping the Reno-Tahoe Open continue to grow.”
Tragash holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Florida and a social media specialist certification from the University of Nevada.
