RENO — The Washoe County Senior Law Project is holding seminars for the public that will go over issues such as the time frame of the foreclosure process, common options available from mortgage companies and mortgage modification scam information.

Workshops will also provide a question-and-answer session for more specific concerns.

The next workshop is set for noon to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Washoe County Complex, 1001 E. Ninth St. in the Central Conference Room, Building C. Another workshop in the same location will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on March 16.

A workshop is also set for 9 a.m. to noon on March 3 at the Reno Senior Center, 1155 E. Ninth St. in Reno.

These are free seminars that are open to everyone in the community. Bring your latest mortgage statement and a simple budget to the workshop of your choice.
