RENO — The annual AT&T “Project ReDirectory” phone book recycling program in northern Nevada has been extended and will now run through Feb. 5. Residents have two additional weeks to recycle their phone books at drop-off locations in Reno, Sparks and Washoe County.

Phone books can be recycled at area Scolari’s and Sak ’n Save stores, Waste Management Recycle America, AT&T offices, with curbside recyclables or at select park locations. AT&T will donate new trees to area parks when they are recycled at select parks.

For a complete list of drop-off locations, visit www.ktmb.org. Residents of rural communities throughout northern Nevada can find out how to recycle outdated phone books in their area by calling 800-953-4400. If you would like to find out what phone books are being delivered to your household or want to stop receiving your directories altogether, visit www.yellowpagesoptout.com/.
