RENO — Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with robbery of The Hop Ice Cream Shop 95 N. Sierra St. in Reno.

At 2:04 p.m. Tuesday, a dark-skinned man entered the store and placed an order for ice cream. When the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect jumped over the counter and took cash. The suspect fled southbound on North Sierra Street on a bicycle with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is about 5-feet 8-inches tall and was last seen wearing blue baseball cap on backwards with an unknown logo, blue zipped-up jacket and blue pants.

The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
