RENO — Avoid the parking hassle and ride your bike to the University of Nevada, Reno football game today because the Reno Bike Project (RBP) will be running a free, secure bike valet service in front of the Joe Crowley Student Union starting at noon. Leave your car at home and hop on two wheels to go see UNR play New Mexico for homecoming. The bike project will keep your bikes safe while you enjoy the game.

The Reno Bike Project is a nonprofit community bicycle shop and advocacy group committed to creating a nationally recognized, cycling-friendly community in the Truckee Meadows. Since 2006, the bike project has worked through advocacy, education and cooperation to increase enthusiasm about bicycling as a positive lifestyle and transportation alternative. The organization is built around the belief that the bicycle is the world’s greatest, most utilized mode of transportation and that every person, regardless of age, gender, race or class has a right to afford, maintain and enjoy.
