VERDI — Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $250 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the theft of scrap metal from an unidentified business in Verdi.
On Oct. 1 at about 3 p.m., the suspect was caught on video in the process of stealing scrap metal from a Verdi business. The value of the loss is undetermined at this time. The suspect is described as a white male adult, in his late 50s to early 60s. Washoe County Sheriff’s Office has surveillance photographs of the suspect.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect and facts surrounding this case.
