RENO — The Bishop Manogue Catholic High School Parents Association is holding its annual Green and Gold fundraiser on Saturday.

This year, it’s a tailgate-style party with local eateries providing an array of delicious food and local microbreweries serving up their handiwork. All the proceeds go directly back to the school to support academics, athletics and the faculty, administration and staff.

Other attractions include classic cars, a silent auction, entertainment by the Manogue music department and cheerleaders and a raffle that offers the chance to win some big cash prizes. First place is $10,000, second place, $1,000 and third place $500. Raffle tickets are $100 each and are available in advance at Bishop Manogue’s main office or on the day of the event. Raffle ticket sales will be capped at 1,000. Admission to the event is $50. Reserve a spot by contacting April Gonzales at 336-6016 or april.gonzales@bishopmanogue.org.

The event will take place from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School, 110 Bishop Manogue Drive.
