Dear editor:

My friends and I attend Street Vibrations every year.  This was our 10th year, and it was the best ever.  And I should also add that we are not a “motorcycle club.”  I sincerely hope that the Pigs (that term applies not only to the police but also the mayor and anyone else in authority) will not ruin Street Vibrations as they did the Laughlin River Run.  There, for example, the badged thug squad will ticket you (jaywalking) for stepping off the curb.  The “state of emergency” excuse on Saturday was very lame and did nothing but hurt the vendors in Victorian Plaza.  The Pigs need to accept that fact that they are powerless against the will of the people.  Anything they attempt to do will only make matters worse, because they only thing they know how to do is harass the masses for the actions of the few. They shut down Hollister and turned Laughlin into a police rally. No motorcycle club has ever ruined my good time; so I for one will side with them over the Pigs any time.

Please stay away from our City of Sparks. We like our PIGS (Pride Integrity and Guts) and do not want the lame, ignorant attitude that persons of your ilk bring into our wonderufl town.
