RENO — Join Sierra Interfaith Action for Peace for an evening with Jim Haber and Marylou Anderson of the Nevada Desert Experience. Haber and Anderson traveled overseas in early 2011 in support of the Afghan Youth Peace Volunteers, bringing back first-hand information about the situation in Afghanistan and a personal perspective on the effects of this peaceful movement. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 26, in Room 215, Mackay Science building, University of Nevada, Reno.
