SPARKS — Police apprehended three suspects Wednesday in connection with several vehicle burglaries.

Brian Anderson, 22, Troy Sherman, 20, and Andrew Gusman, 20, all were arrested and charged with burglary after Sparks police responded to several reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 2400 block of Lawry Drive. After checking several locations, officers found the two suspect vehicles stopped at Wingfield Hills drive and Rolling Meadows Drive.

Upon further investigation, officers were able to arrest all three suspects for four separate vehicle burglaries. The suspects were apparently going through unlocked vehicles and stealing personal property.

The Sparks Police Department would like to remind citizens to secure their valuables and not to leave items in plain view in their vehicles. Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Sparks Police Department at 353-2231.
