Search for missing boy concludes

INCLINE VILLAGE – The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office found a missing 11-year-old boy here Monday morning after being reported missing Sept. 3.

The Sheriff’s Office mobilized resources over the weekend attempting to locate Sam Singer. The Sheriff’s Office resources included hasty teams, search and rescue personnel, patrol units, detective investigators and the RAVEN helicopter.

Sam Singer’s mother approached a deputy at the Sheriff’s Office Incline Substation and Dispatch Center wanting to report her son as a missing juvenile. Sam was last seen in the area of Laura Court and Dorcey Drive at about noon on Saturday, Sept. 3.

Singer was found Monday morning unharmed. No other details were provided about the circumstances of his disappearance.
