This Union Pacific project will benefit motorists in the area through enhancement of three crossings in the Sparks area. Older rubber railroad crossing material will be replaced with concrete pads and new asphalt surfacing.
The three crossings are located at Wolverine and Glendale Avenue, Deming and Glendale Avenue and Packer and Glendale Avenue. Work on the crossings will being and end as follows:
Wolverine and Glendale – Today at 4 a.m. until Sept. 1 at 7 p.m.
Deming and Glendale – Sept. 6 at 4 a.m. until Sept. 9 at 7 p.m.
Packer and Glendale – Sept. 12 at 4 a.m. until Sept. 15 at 7 p.m.
Detours will be in place during this time.
