At 1:40 a.m., Sparks police officers responded to multiple reports of gun shots being fired in the area of the Lansdowne Apartment complex at 1260 El Rancho Drive.
When officers arrived, they located a victim of gunshot wounds inside an apartment in the complex. The victim was transported to Renown Medical Center by emergency medical personnel. His name is being withheld because of his age.
The Sparks Police Department is asking for the public’s help with this case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sparks police detective section at 353-2225 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
Further information will be released by Sparks police detectives as the investigation allows.
