RENO — In a first for the Great Reno Balloon Race, officials are auctioning a ride for two people in the Darth Vader hot air balloon during the 30th anniversary event on Sept. 10. The auction bidding started at $500 and ends at 8 p.m. Monday. The Vader balloon is the most popular, highly photographed and sought after hot air balloon in the world, making the value of the rides priceless.
