LOVELOCK — On Friday at 4:48 a.m., troopers from the Nevada Highway Patrol were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident 23 miles east of Lovelock.
The preliminary crash investigation details indicate that a commercial vehicle was traveling westbound on Interstate 80. For unknown reasons, the vehicle struck the guardrail at the Rye Patch interchange and overturned. There is one person confirmed dead at this time.
