RENO — In the early morning hours on Monday, the Quick Mart gas station, located at 500 Kietzke Lane was burglarized. The suspect, who was identified through a secret witness tip as 48-year-old Michael Bork, rammed a stolen cargo van into the business. The force of the impact created an opening into the business. Bork entered the store and once inside, he removed the cash register and exited with the register and an undisclosed amount of cash.

On Tuesday, Bork, who has 11 prior felony convictions, was arrested by detectives assigned to the Reno Police Department Burglary Unit, the Crime Suppression Team and the Northern Nevada Repeat Offender Program for burglary, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, destruction of property and grand larceny. Bork was currently on parole for a 2009 felony conviction for grand theft auto.
