Reno police detectives conducted a preliminary search of the area, locating additional bones and other personal items, all of which appeared to have been there for quite some time. On Wednesday, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Unit conducted a thorough search, locating additional items.
Detectives are actively attempting to identify the deceased. The cause of death is unknown at this time and the investigation is continuing.
