Sisters fight, both stabbed

RENO — Two sisters were involved in a fight Tuesday, resulting in both of them being stabbed and one arrested.

At 10:51 p.m., Reno police officers responded to 2300 Harvard Way on a report of a stabbing. During the investigation officers learned that this was an incident of domestic violence between two sisters. Both received non-life-threatening stab wounds during the

incident. One female suspect, Nina Galavez, 34, was arrested for battery with a deadly weapon, destruction of property and child endangerment. Her boyfriend, Gary Pressel, 32, was arrested for simple battery and two outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
