Lacy J. Dalton is known worldwide as a country/western singer who lives near Virginia City and is also known for being a wild horse advocate, along with her co-host and fellow rancher, Willis Lamm.
The weekly show will host several prominent guests from the entertainment world, as well as Nevadans who share mutual concerns, including, but not limited to, entertainment, job creation and tourism while concentrating on northern Nevada for its thrust.
“I am working with many others across this nation to save Nevada’s wild horses, and everywhere I go to hold a concert or other event, there is tremendous interest to help,” Dalton said. “I had been interviewed several times by Eddie on his past Nevada Matters show and love this opportunity to reach out to Nevadans with this new show named after one of my songs.”
The show was taped in front of a live audience at 1301 Cordone Ave. in Reno, where Dave Asher of the Reno/Sparks Local Business Co-Op invited Floyd to host this as well as his other interviews for Nevada Matters programming. Floyd’s show is heard primarily on Evans Broadcast stations, 99.1FM Talk, and My Country KCMY in northern Nevada.
“I’m very excited to host Eddie and Nevada Matters at our Local Business Co-Op,” Asher said. “It ties in perfectly with our work to support entrepreneurs and local businesses to help turn our economy around and create jobs.”
