Reward offered in Shell station robbery case

RENO — Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with armed robbery of the Shell service station at 2595 Clearacre Lane in Reno.

At 10:22 p.m. Monday, two suspects entered the store with a handgun and ordered the employee to open the register. As the employee was opening the cash register the suspect armed with the handgun fired a single shot into a wall. The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 160 to 170 pounds with a thin build, wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket, dark-colored mask over his face and dark-colored gloves. The second suspect is described as an unknown race male in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 160 to 170 pounds with a thin build and wearing a light-colored hooded jacket, dark-colored baseball cap, dark mask over his face and light-colored gloves.
