RENO — On Wednesday, detectives from the Reno Police Department’s Property Crimes Division arrested two adult males who were responsible for a residential burglary and attempted robbery case that occurred last month in south Reno.

On Feb. 22 at about 12:10 a.m., officers from the Reno police patrol division responded to an address in southeast Reno on the report of a residential burglary, where the homeowners were woken up during the night by armed intruders. One of the residents confronted the males, who then pointed a weapon at her prior to fleeing the house.  Officers arrived and were unable to locate the suspects. Officers were able to collect evidence on scene, and forward the investigation to detectives.

On Wednesday, Reno Police Detectives were able to identify the suspects involved through interviews, and the processing of evidence. The suspects were located and interviewed regarding the above listed crimes.  Both of the suspects were later booked into the Washoe County jail.

The suspects are 20-year-old Justin Bezak and 19-year-old Jonathan Grevelink. Both men were arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit robbery, attempted robbery and burglary.

The suspects have been linked to similar type cases within the region, and other charges could be pending. If anyone has information regarding this crime, please contact Secret Witness at 322-4900, or the Reno Police Department Detective Division at 334-2115.
