Reward offered in check fraud, identity theft, forgery case

RENO — Secret Witness is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of fugitive 42-year-old Glenn Powell.

Powell is wanted for a no-bail probation violation and is a suspect in multiple counterfeit checks, identity theft, possession of a financial forgery lab and fraudulent payday loans in the local area. Powell is described as a white male adult, about 5 foot 9 inches tall weighing about 145 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. The suspect is known to frequent Reno casino hotels.

Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect. Anyone having information relating to these crimes or the suspect should contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2115 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
