Saddle Tramps at the Alley

Sparks band the Saddle Tramps will perform at the Alley on Victorian Avenue at 8:30 p.m. Friday for New Year’s Eve. The Saddle Tramps will be joined by Disciples, Calling Cadence, and Melvin Makes Machineguns.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. This is the Saddle Tramps’ last show since the band will be taking a break. So, see them while you can. For more information and tickets, visit

Whitney Myer Band at Great Basin in Sparks

Black and Brew Ball at Great Basin Brewing Co. in Sparks with Whitney Myer Band and Nothing like a Dame. There will be a free champagne toast at midnight and a dance party all night. Myer is a singer-songwriter who has been playing in the Reno-Sparks area for nine years and is one of the most intriguing up-and-coming artists in the area. Myer has been surrounded by music her whole life and received vocal training for eight years and plays guitar and keyboard.
