That woman is an IDIOT for taking in all those worthless dogs, and the Sparks Tribune is an IDIOT for making front page news of it.

The fuss made over dumb-ass dogs these days is nothing short of insanity.

Dale Spencer, Reno

A woman is a “hero of sorts” for breaking a city ordinance and annoying her neighbors by bringing 24 mangy dogs onto her property? My definition of “hero” is a LOT different than that.

The RGJ covered this same moronic story a couple of weeks ago. Why the media gives these animal freaks the time of day, I’ll never know.

And boy is Spalione one butt-ugly broad. What a dog! woof woof.

Toby Carruthers, Reno

You think a bunch of disease-ridden, parasite-ridden ugly mutts with behavior problems are “precious”?!? Every one of those damn dogs should be killed ASAP. That woman is a total fool. Dogs are her entire life? Then she seriously needs to get a REAL life. Anybody who elevates mere dogs to such importance is a nut job.

Jennifer Tuttle, Sparks

Dogs are so trivial, I can’t believe they wind up on the front page so often in various papers. This SAME EXACT story about the Spanish Springs dog addict was covered in the Reno Gazette-Journal recently. Written by a different journalist, but basically identical in stupid content. If this homely broad is so compassionate about animals, why didn’t she rescue the cats also? Is she a vegetarian? I doubt it; she probably doesn’t care about all the livestock animals killed each day. No, the only animals she seems to care about are dogs. Makes sense, since she’s a dog herself.

I'm absolutely floored by the reactions of those who chose to comment on this situation... Who cares what she looks like on the outside, on the inside she is a far better person than all of you who commented before me.

Maybe if you people had dogs in your lives, you would have a bit more compassion!
