7 grandchildren, Joseph "Joey" York of Santee CA, Jeffrey York of GA, Leslie Strayhorn of Simi Valley CA, William Strayhorn (Karina) of Simi Valley CA, Elizabeth Ornbaum (Don) of Sparks NV, Kelsey Bonesteel of Bakersfield CA, Trevor Bonesteel of Bakersfield CA.

6 great grandchildren, Joseph "JP" Paul York (NM), Lela Rose Ornbaum (Sparks NV), Emily Elizabeth Nicholas-Ornbaum (Sparks NV), Olivia Corinne Nicholas-Ornbaum (Sparks NV), Alexandria Maya Strayhorn (Simi Valley CA) and Ryland Jacob Ornbaum (Sparks NV).

Predeceased, her beloved soul mate Joseph Othel York, her parents Jacob and Hilda Kovala, 8 brothers and sisters and numerous family and beloved friends.

What a gift it was to know her, to be around her, to share in her laughter, to be with her humble spirit. she passed peacefully in her sleep the morning of October 31st, 2010, just the way she told us she always wanted to go. We find comfort in knowing she is in the arms of her Heavenly Father and is with her beloved Joe once again. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
