Increase in STDs in Washoe County
WASHOE COUNTY— Healthcare providers are asked to increase testing sexually transmitted disease (STD) data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in its 2012 STD Surveillance Report indicate an increase in chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis in Washoe County, with a more remarkable increase taking place from 2012 to 2013.
