Forest Service plans prescribed burns west of Reno
RENO — The U.S. Forest Service plans prescribed burns in the Dog Valley area northwest of Reno to reduce fuel loads. The agency says about 150 acres are targeted for underbrush removal, and hand crews and engines will be on site to monitor the fires.
