Man arrested for kidnapping, sexual assault
RENO — A Reno man was arrested Monday for sexually assaulting his girlfriend. Police got a call at 8:50 p.m. from a witness who reported seeing Jerred Hammes, 25, dragging the victim for several blocks to a residence on High Street. Along the way, the witness reported that Hammes sexually assaulted the victim twice. Hammes was located and taken into custody without incident.
