RENO — Thursday is the final day to view the Veteran’s Art Project gallery at Northwest Reno Library. The exhibit features artist and U.S. Navy veteran Ross Nagle. Nagle primarily uses watercolor and other mixed media.

Ross Nagle was born in Stockton, Calif., and served with the United States Navy between 1964 and 1971. He is the youngest of 4 brothers who all served in the U.S. Navy. He graduated from U.C. Sacramento in 1969 with a B.F.A. Subsequently, Nagle worked as a union carpenter and is now retired. He has turned his attention back to art and is currently producing water color, pen and ink, and mixed media.

Major funds for this project provided by David J. Drakulich Art Foundation: For Freedom of Expression, with support from Nevada Military Support Alliance, VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System and VSA Nevada.

The Northwest Reno Library Gallery is located at 2325 Robb Dr. in Reno. The gallery is open today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
