The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Clark County Family Court Judge William Voy accepted the pleas Tuesday to one felony animal cruelty charge each. Other charges were dropped.
The boys’ names are being withheld.
The boys have been in custody for 20 days. They also have to perform 200 hours of community service.
On June 20, a neighbor heard animal cries from a northwest Las Vegas backyard and photographed the boys drowning the kittens in a plastic cup of water.
