INCLINE VILLAGE — The Tahoe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (TOCCATA) will hold the spring concert presentation of the newly formed Tahoe Symphony Youth Orchestra at 7 p.m. today at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Incline Village.

Original pieces/arrangements by Eric Ewazen, Robert Longfield and John O’Reilly will be presented, as well as arrangements of several light pieces for the spring season from Händel, Mozart and Gustav Holst, and a surprise arrangement of a popular Beatles tune. All selections will be conducted by Joel Munc, the orchestra’s founding conductor.

The Tahoe Symphony Youth Orchestra is open to all string players, flutists and bassoons from grades 6 through 12.

Admission to the concert is free, but donations are accepted at the door for next semester’s student scholarships. TTSYO is seeking supporters and a major sponsor for its second year activities.
