As a community-based museum, the Sparks Heritage Museum relies completely on the services of volunteers to keep its doors open, Executive Director Anthea Humphreys said. The museum’s mission is to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of Sparks and the Truckee Meadows for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations.
Shifts that are needed include:
• Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
• Special events as needed.
