RENO — On Monday morning, Sierra Senior Services accepted a new meal delivery van donated by the Caesar’s Foundation to help the Senior Nutrition Program deliver meals to seniors in need.
The donation was made on the Harrah’s Reno Plaza in downtown. The vehicle donation comes at a time when the majority of Meals On Wheels programs across the country are facing significant impacts due to the rise in food prices as well as the struggling economy.
