Wise was arrested a short time later. Detectives located hundreds of pieces of evidence believed to be stolen in local burglaries. All of the evidence was later transported to the Sparks Police Department. Another female, Raquel Casarez, was arrested for a single count of child neglect unrelated to the stolen property case.
Several pieces of property have already been identified as reported stolen, however, the Sparks Police Department will hold a public viewing at a later date for the victims of burglaries to come and view the property in the hope of identifying the remaining property located during the search warrant. All persons that may be the victim of a burglary must have a police report from a local law enforcement agency prior to viewing the property.
Several other suspects are still outstanding and more arrests are expected as a result of this case. Please contact the Sparks Police Department Crime Suppression Unit at (775) 353-2450 if you are the victim of a burglary or theft and believe that your property may have been recovered. Anyone with information about this case or any other suspects is asked to contact the Crime Suppression Unit at the above listed number.
