RENO — Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with Friday’s robbery of a bank in Reno.

At 4:59 p.m., the suspect entered the Nevada State Bank located at 1 W. Liberty St. in Reno and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect then exited the bank onto Liberty Street and left in an unknown direction.

The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone having information relating to this crime or the suspect should contact the department at 334-2188, or Secret Witness by phone at 322-4900, online at or text a tip to 847411 (TIP 411), keyword “SW.”
